DW-LE Weatherproof Call Station

DW‑LE Weatherproof call station is the subscriber equipment of public address and paging systems, as well as the emergency notification system being part of the industrial communication system DCN, ARMTELICS manufactured by Armtel LLC, Russia.

Product specifications ensure operation of the DW‑LE Weatherproof call station in high humidity, noise, dust content, and high temperature environment, at presence of smoke, corrosive gases, and vapours of chemical agents.

DW‑LE can only operate as part of DCN or ARMTELICS communication systems and cannot perform any functions without connection to the communication system via digital Uk0-interface or Up0-interface. Connection to the ARMTELICS system is established using the IPN-4LE Lines extender

2) Outdoor use.

DW‑LE is intended to be used outdoors or indoors, in areas with increased humidity, noise, dust content, smoke concentration, with corrosive gases and chemical substance vapours, in a wide range of operating temperatures. DW‑LE can be used at end-to-end cycle enterprises – metallurgical, chemical, mining as well as metal-working and wood-working industry, in vehicles, at facilities of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Ministry of Defense, etc., where usual loud-speaking equipment cannot be used due to operating conditions.

DW-LE complies with the Technical regulations of the Customs Union «Electromagnetic compatibility of technical equipment» TR CU 020/2011 and Technical regulations of the Customs Union TR CU 004/2011 «On safety of low-voltage equipment».

  • establishing connection with other subscriber terminals of the DCN (intercom) system by using direct keys/buttons (DK) with status indication of programmed functions, a dial pad (key sender), or a remote microphone push-to-talk key (PTT);
  • loud-speaking simplex communication via master or remote microphones and master or external loudspeaker;
  • simplex and duplex communication by means of a handset;
  • making outgoing group calls;
  • receiving incoming group calls;
  • broadcasting alarms, alerts and other recorded messages to other individual subscribers and groups of subscribers;
  • receiving alarms, alerts and other recorded messages from other subscribers, both individually and as part of a group;
  • indication of call direction, status of terminals on the respective direct keys/buttons (incoming and outgoing communication, unavailability);
  • maintaining the call priority system;
  • connection of an external loudspeaker using a 25 W amplifier;
  • manipulating the external light signaling device (lamp) using the built-in relay;
  • adjusting the volume level of the master loudspeaker, handset speaker, and external loudspeaker;
  • adjusting the sensitivity of the master or remote microphones.
